MK and Company Interior Design and Decoration

The Pasadena Showcase House of Design has hosted a Design House in the Pasadena Area for over 45 years.  This year will mark their 48th year with the unveiling of the 2012 Pasadena Showcase House of Design.

In 2010 MK and Company Interior Design and Decoration was proud to be part of this grand showcase in designing the 20 foot x 30 foot Dining Room, set in the historic house known as the Cravens Estate, which is presently, the headquarters of the San Gabriel Pomona Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. The 2010 Pasadena Showcase House of Design differed from past showcase homes because this historic estate had no homeowner and was truly a charity event in itself.

Designed by architect, Lewis Parson Hobart, the Cravens Estate was inspired by the baroque Chateau Vaux-le-Vicomte in France, which was also the inspiration for Versailles.
