With a Love for Scandinavian Design, we came across this post by Home-Designing.

Not one that loves “white”all that much as a main color for a space, we found this apartment to be very inspiring and very livable. However, we tend to agree that due to the long gray winters “white” works best, as well as giving the spaces a clean fresh look all year-long. All the colors are in the accents.

The tallest wall in the centre of the apartment has been adorned with the eye-catching red and white Fornasetti faces design of Teme e Variazioni wallpaper, from Cole & Son; decorating the tallest wall in the attic space draws the room proportions upwards, combating the feeling that the space closes in.

One of the coolest features in this attic space is the kitchen – did you notice that the walls at the entry to the kitchen are angled as well? It seems to be mimicking the slopped ceilings and walls – and by giving them a rough texture, it adds more interest.  Well done!
